Hello and thanks for visiting SURG!

Let’s start off with the bad news. Not that there is much good news, but it gets progressively better.

SURG FM will NOT be broadcasting on 90.9 through O-Week. Due to unfortunate circumstances, the transmitter won’t be installed until Monday Week 1 (2nd March). We anticipate full, normal broadcasting will begin on that day. We have inquired to see if the license can be extended by a week to make up for this loss.

REMEMBER – we are still at O-Week! The SURG stall is on the front lawns, and you NEED to come register for membership this year. You can pick up a lovely bright orange t-shirt while you’re there.

ALSO – everyone needs to come to the Training and Defamation Briefing on Monday at 6pm in the Isabel Fidler room at Manning (top floor). This will give you the chance to play with the equipment, learn about the pitfalls of racism, and register a timeslot for your show. BE THERE!
